Return Policy Terms

Once the customer checks out from the shopping cart, the Terms and Conditions of carlcharlesdanceshoes.com are accepted.

If for any reason the customer is not satisfied with merchandise, items may be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receiving purchase.

No refund or exchange will be issued for item(s) received after 30 days of receipt or without a return authorization. Merchandise returned after 30 days of receipt or without a return authorization, will be returned to sender at the customer’s expense.

Shipping charges are not refunded - only the price of the item(s) returned.

Merchandise must be returned in its original condition - washed and worn items will not be accepted. Shoes must be returned in its original shoebox. Shoebox must also be in its original condition.

Items returned not in its original condition will be returned at the customer’s expense. carlcharlesdanceshoes.com will charge customers credit card for the return shipping charge.

carlcharlesdanceshoes.com will not be liable for any items returned to locations other than to our returns department listed above.

Exchanges

If the items requested as an exchange have a different monetary value, a credit or additional sums will be charged to the credit card on file. Requesting tracking on returned packages is highly recommended.

The customer’s credit card on file will be charged for the shipping charges associated with the shipping of the exchanged items.

Restocking Fees

Returned or exchanged merchandise under $100.00: A 20% restocking charge may apply.

Returned* or exchanged merchandise without an approved authorization (RMA) will be subject
to a 30% restocking fee or the merchandise may be returned to customer at customers
expense.

Returned or exchanged merchandise totaling from same and or combined invoices over $100.00: 30% restocking charge applies

Refused* merchandise: 30% restocking charge applies

* Customer is responsible for shipping charges

* Shoebox not in original condition: $10.00 box fee

Cancellation

Once order has been processed, the order cannot be canceled. Customer must accept delivery and follow return procedure. If the package is refused, the customer is subject to a 30% restock charge.

Monogrammed Items

Monogrammed orders* cannot be cancelled and items are not refundable.
* Monogrammed items may take up to 14 days or longer to ship.

Defective Merchandise

On the carlcharlesdanceshoes.com website, navigate to the Returns section to obtain a return authorization for defective merchandise. Defective items without a return authorization will not be accepted. Once an authorization is obtained, use the same procedures aforementioned for completing the return. In addition, include an explanation of the defect. Product(s) will be replaced for the same item(s). Returns must be made within 30 days of receipt.

Missing Items

It is the customer’s responsibility to notify carlcharlesdanceshoes.com within 5 days of receiving package if item(s) are missing. After 5 days, the shipment will be considered shipped in full and the customer’s responsibility. All packages are electronically weighed. We will determine if an item is missing by the electronic weight at the time of shipment. If the weight matches the product shipped, then the items will be considered shipped complete.

Delivery

carlcharlesdanceshoes.com ships using UPS, and USPS. The total shipping charge will encompass a shipping and handling fee. We provide tracking to all customers upon request. If the customer disputes* delivery, carlcharlesdanceshoes.com will provide proper delivery tracking information.

* If the delivery tracking states delivery was made to the shipping address provided by the customer, customer will accept this tracking as final proof of delivery, even in the event that the customer did not sign for the package.

If the address provided is a PO Box, the item(s) will be shipped via USPS Mail, without tracking. Customer takes full responsibility for delivery. carlcharlesdanceshoes.com highly recommends shipping to a physical address.

We may require 24-48 hours to process your order before shipping. If order is placed on weekends please allow an additional 24-48 to process your order before shipping.

Incorrect Address

The customer is responsible for providing the correct shipping address information. If the package was shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the customer takes full responsibility to retrieve the package and he/she will be responsible for the full cost of the items shipped.

Samples

Samples requested by customers are subject to the same terms and conditions aforementioned. All samples will be charged at the same prices listed on our web site.

Pricing and Promotion

All of our products on our website have a price for sale. There are no products on our site that are free or for sale for zero dollars. On very rare occasions, a product may show a zero ($0) price. This may be an error caused by system updates.

In the event this occurs and the customer chooses to purchase this product, the customer will be responsible and will be charged for the normal price of this product, even though the invoice reads zero dollars for this product. If the purchase was made in error, then a return can be made for a full refund.
